7 by Sora Dora is a mysterious woody, aromatic and ambery Extrait de Parfum that moves from vibrant citrus freshness into a deep landscape of resins, spices and sensual woods. Created by perfumer Margaux Le Paih-Guérin and launched in 2024, the fragrance is Sora Dora’s modern interpretation of a classic fougère.

It opens with sparkling Italian bergamot and yellow mandarin, immediately giving the fragrance a crisp, energetic brightness. The heart introduces nutmeg, white thyme, gurjun balsam and myrrh, creating an aromatic, spicy and resinous character.

As it develops, 7 becomes considerably deeper and smoother. Oud, sandalwood, guaiac wood and patchouli combine with cypriol and ambroxan, while vanilla, white musk and cashmeran soften the composition with a warm, velvety finish.

Sophisticated and distinctive, 7 is a fragrance of contrasts—fresh yet dark, aromatic yet sensual, woody yet softly sweet.

7 begins bright, citrusy and aromatic, with bergamot and mandarin providing freshness while thyme and nutmeg introduce a distinctive herbal-spicy quality.

The fragrance then becomes warmer and more resinous as myrrh and gurjun balsam emerge. In the drydown, the woods become the focus: sandalwood provides creaminess, while oud, guaiac wood, cypriol and patchouli give the fragrance a darker, slightly smoky character.

Vanilla doesn't turn 7 into a gourmand. Instead, it provides a soft sweetness that rounds out the woods, while white musk, cashmeran and ambroxan create a smooth, contemporary finish. Wearer reviews particularly note its woody-musky, aromatic and sweet character.
