Velvet Vendetta

Velvet Vendetta is a dark, rebellious take on vanilla—smoky, boozy, spicy and unapologetically seductive. Inspired by the mythology of the Wild West, it trades dessert-like sweetness for gunsmoke, bourbon, tobacco and weathered woods.

The opening hits with gunsmoke, pink pepper and nutmeg, softened by the rich sweetness of dried fruits. At the heart, a deep forbidden vanilla accord meets bourbon and black olive, creating an unusual combination of sweetness, liquor and a subtle salty edge.

As it develops, tobacco, deadwood, molasses, resins and black vanilla emerge, creating a dense and sensual drydown. The vanilla remains prominent, but rather than becoming sugary, it feels dark, smoky and textured—like vanilla pods, aged wood and tobacco lingering in the air of an old saloon.

Velvet Vendetta is vanilla with an attitude: luxurious and comforting underneath, but surrounded by smoke, spice, booze and rugged woods.

What It Smells Like

Imagine a Wild West saloon after sunset—bourbon poured over dark wood, tobacco smoke hanging in the air, dried fruits and spices on the bar, and rich black vanilla warming everything underneath.

The first spray is noticeably smoky and spicy, with pink pepper and nutmeg giving it heat. Bourbon quickly adds a warm boozy character while vanilla begins to soften the composition.

Then comes the interesting contrast: black olive adds a slightly salty quality, keeping the vanilla from becoming overly sweet. In the drydown, tobacco, molasses, resins and weathered wood make it deeper, darker and increasingly sensual.
