Cornucopia otherwise known as The Horn of Plenty, is a symbol of an overflowing abundance, a contemplation focused away from any type of unfulfilled personal needs or wants. The expansive, all-encompassing scent lets you fall back, breathe easy and feel as if you will never need for anything again.
Cornucopia Notes: Green pepper, Bigarane, Cypress Wood, Cumin, Angelica, Incense, Candied fig, Styrax, Black Musk.
Originally created for a temporary museum exhibition and never intended to be worn as a personal fragrance the character of Craft is illusive, dynamic and exciting, a fragrance for those who stand out from the crowd. With its icy, metallic opening, the scent deepens in complexity with the introduction of cedarwood in the middle notes, and a base of patchouli that anchors the fragrance in familiar territory.
Craft Notes: Aldehydes, Elemi, Cold Metal, Ice, Cedarwood, Patchouli, Black pepper, White pepper
Sweet, spicy, and earthy, this is an undeniably desert-grown rose scent
Crimson Rocks conjures the majesty of the Al Hajar mountains in all their glory at dusk. Standing tall at the top, one is engulfed by a sweet sense of peace. For this fragrance, Amouage brought to life an intense rose, one that is resilient to withstand extreme weather yet gentle, welcoming and just like the mountains it calls home, rooted to stand the test of time. Texturing the rose are red notes of cinnamon and as earthy jujube honey accord which along with oak wood and cedar wood paint the Al Hajar mountains in deep crimson hues.
Rose, cinnamon, jujube honey accord, oak wood, cedar wood
My fascination. I have always felt an irresistible attraction for leather. A leather accord can be intense and severe, but, when it revolves around tanned suede with cedar and vanilla essence, it becomes velvety soft, golden and very elegant. It’s the other side of leather.
Somalian frankincense, Indonesian patchouli, Bourbon vetiver, Ceylon cinnamon and beeswax absolute.
A fresh floral bouquet, uplifted by the coastal breeze.
I have a feeling that tonight you are going to see one of the Riviera’s most fascinating sights.
Nice, 8am. Sunshine and light traffic on the Promenade des Anglais. Here she comes, with the soft top down, and you jump in. As the road unwinds, the view of the gulf suddenly becomes amazing. Her colourful silky foulard sweeps with the breeze and you breathe deeply to catch the rich mixture of Cote d’Azur flavours, in their magic blend of floral and marine. She parks in a panoramic spot and draws out of the back of the car a basket with your breakfast. She doesn’t mind sitting on the ground, she bought her lovely dress at the market stalls for a few dollars and it is not worth worrying about.
What a woman! – you think – she can match a few-dollar-dress with such an astonishing pearl necklace. You open a bottle of Beaujolais wine, and lean towards her to pour some wine into her glass. You can’t help stopping pouring wine and close your eyes, as you smell her perfume. So much in line with her, with her style: sweet and mellow, a mixture of flowers and fruit and some hints of vanilla at the bottom.
A crisp and refined composition for true connoisseurs
A truly refined scent for the perfume connoisseur, Fiero is a spicy woody experience that evokes a bygone era. Opening with fresh bergamot and lemongrass, it leads to a herbal heart of thyme, tarragon and mint, lending the scent a truly unique accord. Warming notes of nutmeg, patchouli and vetiver provide a classic base. An inspiring vintage scent that celebrates the ancient art of Italian perfumery.
Head Notes:Italian Bergamot, Moroccan Neroli, Champagne accord. Heart Notes: Italian Iris abs., Italian Iris Root Butter, French Iris Root Butter, Tuberose abs., Ylang Ylang Madagascar. Base Notes: Sandalwood Mysore, Oakmoss, Leather accord.
L’ATTESA On a summer night. Everything is ready for the rendez-vous…
Act III scene I
All is set for the rendezvous. The soft lights seem to fondle the wrinkled sound of the old vinyl disc, and play hide-and-seek in the warm embrace of the jazz singer’s voice. The wide french-window is opened on the terrace. Outside, only the cicadas shrill drowning and the warm summer breeze. On the tea-table, a nosegay of freshly plucked flowers, flooding the room with a cocktail of smells and a bright colour palette. You uncork a champagne bottle and fill the two flutes. The unmistakable flavour of yeast hovers in the air. You settle into the couch, to enjoy this moment, and take a good look around – every single detail is simply perfect. You then close your eyes, breathe deeply, listen to the sound of her steps on the stairs. Can’t help smiling. You wish these moments would never end. There comes a knock on the door.
A luminous and energetic incense – and dark, animalic incense.
Light notes: Incense.“Cradle and Karma of soaring light”. Chiaroscuros: Ginger, Tuberose, Jasmine, Moss.“In the heart of the Opera, the emotional continuum of the human being, between desire and perpetual quest of oneself”. Dark notes: Incense, Cedarwood, Patchouli.“Wounded body, human lymph, deep and restless truth”.
II – I LUCI ED OMBRE Deep down in your soul.
Act II Scene I
You are peaceful and untroubled. You feel like you were between a barley field and a thick wood, where no sunbeam can penetrate. There is a blinding light, everything seems calm and quiet. Out of a sudden a shiver runs down your back. You realize that such an enticing scene has a gloomy facet, intriguing and mysterious.
It is the night meeting the day, the embrace between light and shadow. The breeze in your hair and the warm and humid breathe of the wolf down your neck. You don’t know any longer neither where you are, nor where you long to be. The dark side is irresistibly fascinating, stronger than any fears and uneasiness it produces.
A fresh, energetic, inebriating perfume. And a dark, animalic incense.
Il suo profumo evoca in me un ricordo del passato. Voglia di tornare in quella sala da tè, in Rue de Rivoli.
“Angelina means a lot to me. First of all, it was the name of my mother. And from my mother I inherited the passion for travels and for nice afternoon teas in fancy patisserie. So it was almost natural – when I started traveling frequently to Paris – to feel a strong attraction for this place in Rue de Rivoli. Every single business trip in the Ville Lumiere could not end without a stop at our favourite delicatessen place. And most of the times I ended up eating a chestnut dessert that my mother would cook for me when I was a kid, the Mont Blanc!”
– Alessandro Brun
Stopping at the legendary tearoom – like famous artists and fashion designers did since the turn of the XX Century – means turning back time, bringing back sweet memories that the talented Fanny Bal (the nose behind the creation of Madeleine) skilfully managed to capture in a sweet floral creation that will not pass unnoticed.
Like a charming girl, sipping hot chocolate in Rue de Rivoli.

I – II MONTECRISTO In the livingroom of an old villa, in the Tuscan countryside. It is the close of day.
Act I Scene II
Every single element of the interior contributes to the warmth and reassuring comfort. The floor of old robust wood planks, aged and worn with the use. In the massive fireplace, coals are still burning. The comfortable couch is made of the best leather, once stout and rigid, and spotlessly tanned, is now soft and worn, and the colour is fading away. A deck of used playing cards abandoned on the coffee table. The tobacco leaves of the hand rolled cigar. A glass of rum.

I – III RUSSIAN TEA Day faded; on the table, glowing, the samovar of evening boiled… (A.Pushkin)
Act I Scene III
Out there, the snow-covered Nevsky Prospekt, and a sumptuous Art Noveau building. Inside, a large bookstore. And, on the first floor, an elegant cafè. As water is poured in the cup, the infusion unleashes its most characteristic notes. Black tea, heavy and intense. A floral note, sharp and biting. And that unmistakably dry and smoky aftertaste given by the caravanserai campfires, meant to keep the precious tea cargo dry in the never-ending journey through Siberia. The fresh mint leaves give a pleasant fresh touch to the hot water. A teaspoon of raspberry preserve sweetens, without altering it, the bitter aftertaste of leather and birch. We sip it slowly, gazing out of the wide window, towards the beautiful cathedral of Our Lady of Kazan and beyond. The Russian Tea Ritual today carried us to an unexpected journey in remote lands, full of mystery and fascination.
A classic barber-shop style fragrance made for the sophisticated modern gentleman, Scandal updates the iconic Fougère structure - the freshest style of masculine perfumery. Spearmint, Lavender, Basil and Tarragon bring about this aromatic freshness, the natural qualities of which are routed into the earth by Moss, Patchouli and Vetiver. The bitter chocolate nuance the Patchouli displays attach to the central note of Tonka Bean, whose rich and chocolatey tones balance the uplifting surprise of the herbs and spices.

Heart Notes: Lily of the Valley, Rose de Mai, Jasmin de Grasse, Violet
Created for an art exhibition, the theme for Smart comes from an empty white gallery space. At first it emits substance and intimacy but as you spend more time and delve deeper the visceral moods unravel, revealing the sensual and the seductive. Smart opens with a luxurious line-up of heady jasmine, luscious vanilla, exotic sandalwood and creamy musk blended carefully with a subtle buckskin leather note that holds the white notes in balance.
Violet leaf, Jasmine, Sandalwood, Vanilla, White musk, Buckskin
Hazy and hypnotic, Soft Tension is a floral musk that replicates the anchorless wonder of wandering through a deep and endless white fog. An enchanting musk provides the fog's body, pillow-soft yet entirely substantial, diffusing across the skin in languorous clouds, while peppery freesia and green mate periodically slice through the haze like tendrils of sunlight. A smooth cedar and fresh, lichenous moss beckon from the horizon, reminding us of the world that still surrounds us at the periphery of vision. Haunting and delicate, Soft Tension is a skin scent of mystery and quiet power for those who know that sometimes we must be lost in order to find what we're looking for.
A magnificent marriage of Ta’if and Cambodian Oudh providing boundless pleasure. Enormously extravagant, the Elixir intensifies the basic accord to create nothing short of a masterpiece. It’s a perfume of tremendous presence, personality and panache. Intensely powerful and utterly seductive.

TERRALBA In front of you, the sea. Behind, Mediterranean shrubland..
Act I Scene I
You are in such a transition area in which the smells of shrubs and the heath mingle intimately (and indistinguishably) with the saline odor of the sea. You walk cautiously on the rocks of the medium pathway leading to the beach, following – almost chasing – the sound of the waves, finding your way through the thick vegetation.
It is a narrow and steep pathway. You touch the branches of the bushes. A bent branch bleeds a dense and sticky resinous liquid, whose strong and bitter odor doesn’t want to leave your skin. And – in front of you – deep blue. The horizon expands and you abandon yourself to the sounds and the view of the mighty ocean sea.
Head Notes: Hazelnut Accord, Glossy Lipstick Accord. Heart Notes: Osmanthus, Tuberose. Base Notes: Sandalwood, Gajacwood, Styrax.
I – IV TIMES SQUARE
Act I Scene IV
New York stinks. It stinks of cheap harsh tobacco and dense exhaust gas. The traffic jam seems endless. And stinks of hot rubber and stale steam. People are weird. The fashionista lady with the glowing-green stilettos orders a huge pretzel. And stinks of lurid street-food of any sort. Cinnamon and fries. Mustard and caramel.
The cherry of the whore’s bloody-red lipstick melts with the strawberry of her chewing-gum. The side alleys are just garbage and urine. But find your way through the crowd of bachelorettes waiting for the male-strip show, and it will be a flood of tuberose and carnation. I feel like having a walk tonight. Go get my crab cakes and a burger. And breathe the city miasmas while reaching the place.
My fable. A shadow moves on the ground, comes to life sheltered from the sun and captures the essence of the different olfactory messages that plants give off growing on it with their flowers, fruits, leaves, wood, mosses, resins, roots, to combine like a true alchemist and develop its own perfume.
Haitian vetiver, Madagascar black pepper, oak moss, geranium bourbon, Canadian fir balsam and Brazilian tonka beans.
