Sora Dora is the French house begun by Antoine, who left Portugal for Provence in 1920 and worked as head gardener at a jasmine farm near Grasse.

The Story

Perfumer Aurélien Guichard, founder of Matière Première, imagined a dark vanilla bean painted white: a deep, supple vanilla with a salty facet, contrasted with modern white powders. The extrait raises the dosage of the hero ingredient, vanilla absolute from Fair for Life land in Madagascar, and adds a guest ingredient, Venezuelan tonka bean absolute, which unveils a new and unexpected facet of the original.
