Red dunes, ancient trade routes and the warmth of desert hospitality. Rouge Sarây is a decadent Eau de Parfum from Atelier des Ors, created by perfumer Marie Salamagne. It opens with luscious plum, cinnamon and jasmine, then a sweet date accord, patchouli and heliotrope unfold into sensual gourmand warmth. The dry down of vanilla, Peru balsam, guaiac wood and sandalwood is smooth, opulent and bold.
The Story
The fragrance draws on imagined adventures and tales from the ancient Middle Eastern trade routes, with glowing red dunes and the warmth of hospitality. Date is the centerpiece, with a fleshy, fruity character, while vanilla and heliotrope add richness, sandalwood a sensual base and smoky guaiac wood an amber, darkly romantic quality. Atelier des Ors is the Grasse-based house founded in 2015 by Jean-Philippe Clermont.
