Decision 42 is a new 2026 Exceptional Extrait from Amouage, created by perfumer Quentin Bisch. It takes the original Decision DNA and makes it darker, smokier, richer and more intense, with an exceptionally high 42% perfume oil concentration.

The original Decision centers on a lightning strike near a juniper tree. Decision 42 raises the stakes: neroli, cardamom and cinnamon sharpen the lightning effect, while juniper meets patchouli and rectified pine tar for a darker, smokier profile. Vanilla and labdanum make the base warmer and more life-affirming. Fierce, uncompromising and dazzling.

How it smells: Brilliant spice and citrus collide with dark woods, smoky resins and incense, then settle into warm, ambered vanilla. Compared with the original Decision, it is deeper, smokier and more resinous, with a stronger emphasis on woods and incense.

Smoke, spice and resin at full volume. Outlands by Amouage is an ultra-rich composition of spice, patchouli, incense, amber and woods, created by perfumer Cécile Zarokian and released in 2024 as part of The Essences collection. Bold, complex and magnetic, it is a luxurious powerhouse.

The Story

Outlands joins Amouage's The Essences collection as an Essence de Parfum, composed at roughly 30% perfume oils and given a special ageing process for added depth. It reads as a modern take on classic amber and spice, resinous and smoky in character.

The Story

Inspired by the giant sequoias of California and the frankincense trees of Oman, Timber explores strength, wisdom and nature. The Library Collection takes its cue from libraries and the knowledge they hold, and "Opus" is the Latin word for a writer's or perfumer's work.

The Story

Released in 2021 and created by Lucas Sieuzac, Reflection 45 Man is the extrait version of the iconic Reflection Man, and carries about 45% perfume oil, the highest concentration in the Amouage line, making it richer, smoother and more complex than the original. It was matured for 10 weeks after 6 weeks of maceration and made in Oman (Batch 1).
