Jasmine Perfumes

Night-blooming and heady

Jasmine is one of perfumery's great white flowers, rich, sweet, and slightly animalic, with sambac and grandiflorum varieties both common in niche compositions. It's one of the most expensive natural materials used in fragrance, and a small amount goes a long way, which is why jasmine tends to show up as a supporting note that lifts a whole composition rather than the sole focus.

Reinvented's Sacred Bond and Xerjoff's Naxos both use jasmine to add warmth and depth to richer, sweeter bases. Xerjoff's Torino 21 and Sospiro's Vibrato show jasmine working in brighter, more aromatic company.
