Sandlo Nobile
Regular price $228.00Like a cashmere scarf, soft and enveloping. Sandalo Nobile by Nobile 1942 is a woody, powdery fragrance of saffron and cumin, iris and gurjan balsam, resting on Siam benzoin, white sandalwood and cedarwood. It was composed by Henri Bergia.
The Story
The heady fragrance of spices such as saffron and cumin seed wafts from sacks piled in a storehouse, ready to fill wagons bound for the market, and hangs in a room barely lit by the faint light of dawn. Immersed in the heat of the water, steam infused with sandalwood forms clouds, softened by Siamese benzoin. Muscles relax and tensions disappear, and the mind yields to the beauty of experiences, affections and emotions, linked as gurjan links the flowery iris to the precious fig tree, like a fog that envelops us in a gentle embrace. It is a brief moment that makes us one with Mother Nature and helps us face a new day with serenity. The house gives it the perfume code of afternoon.
