The Story

Released in 2021, Hibiscus Mahajád grew from founder Thibaud Crivelli’s experience of drinking hibiscus tea in a gemstone market. The perfume builds on the tea’s tart, fruity character, with rose and vanilla accentuating its rosy, vanillic side, and sets the brightness of hibiscus against spiced leather and spearmint. Maison Crivelli, founded in 2018, centers each creation on an unexpected discovery of a raw material.

The Story

Mystical, mysterious murmurings glide upon a blanket of inky sky, and shadows smear across the moonlight as bats, the only mammal capable of true flight, make their darting journey through the dark. Zoologist Bat escorts you on an odyssey through the night, carrying you with the fruit bat to a sumptuous feast in a lush tropical jungle before whisking you down to the recesses of its cavernous home. Sweet guavas and passion fruits ensnare you with addictive notes, then beckon you deep with primordial mineral scents that evoke a rugged enclosure redolent with hints of damp soil and vegetal roots.
