The Story

Pernoire is an independent Swiss house founded in 2020 in Basel by childhood friends Robin Dünner and Nico Mannino, who conceive each fragrance as an “olfactory personality”. Anelo, part of the Odus collection and the house's best-selling scent, carries the spirit of adventure: it is inspired by sailors with a drive to explore the world, and aims to evoke stepping off a boat onto a sunny shore. The name nods to the pineapple-and-pomelo pairing at its core. Modern yet timeless, it carries the distinctive artistic identity of Pernoire with a polished, confident, effortlessly luxurious feel.

How It Smells

Opening
Freshly sliced pineapple, pomelo and mandarin: bright, juicy and uplifting, with a sophisticated brightness.

Heart
Mango, ginger and magnolia add tropical sweetness, warm spice and airy florals.

Dry Down
Dry amber, vetiver and patchouli form an earthy, woody foundation, smooth, warm and sensual, balancing the brighter nuances with a deeper, elegant dry down.
