The Story

Created by perfumer Quentin Bisch under creative direction by Renaud Salmon, Decision belongs to Amouage's Odyssey collection (2025) and takes inspiration from Jebel Shams, the high Omani mountain. It captures the balance in a major decision between holding a clear goal and staying open to other possibilities. The Eau de Parfum is presented at a 33% oil concentration, aged five weeks, three of maceration and two of maturation.

Guidance turned into pure luxury armor. Guidance 46 by Amouage is the intensified Exceptional Extrait of the iconic Guidance, created by Quentin Bisch and launched in 2024. Pear, rose water, hazelnut and bitter almond open into rose, osmanthus, saffron and sambac jasmine, resting on a creamy, woody base of sandalwood, vanilla and ambergris.

The Story

Guidance 46 takes its name from its 46% perfume oil concentration, making it richer, smoother and more powerful than the original. Amouage presents it as a study in light and shade, fragility and strength, subtlety and ostentatiousness, and ages it for four weeks (two of maceration, two of maturation).

The Story

Beneath the surface a school of squid emerges, strange elastic forms propelled from the deep in a frantic search for sustenance, and when predators lunge they are foiled by blinding jets of murky ink. The hunt ends abruptly as a monolith materializes: a massive sperm whale that dives, leaving a temporary peace in its wake. Decades on, relics of the battle resurface as lumps of ambergris, expelled by the whale and polished by the salty currents, wash ashore. Waste or flotsam? To the perfumer this elusive substance is nothing less than treasure. The Story

Meander was inspired by the Khareef, the monsoon season in Oman's southernmost governorate, when fog rolls through the cliffs, the mountains turn lush and green, and streams run through the land. Amouage presents it as an exploration of the exhilarating happiness of that landscape. The fog is suggested by frankincense and smoky vetiver, the greenery by cypriol and jonquille, and the damp earth by carrot, orris and sandalwood. It was launched in 2020 as part of the house's Renaissance Collection.
