The Story

Maison Crivelli, the French house founded by Thibaud Crivelli, builds this extrait from natural materials of the ORPUR label, a selection of fine ingredients from the Givaudan perfume house, including Indian cardamom absolute, Turkish rose absolute, Indonesian nutmeg and patchouli, Moroccan cedarwood and Venezuelan tonka bean absolute. The house presents it as inspired by a memory of smelling oud at a horse race.

How It Smells

Opening
Bold, spicy and immediately commanding: saffron, cardamom and Indonesian nutmeg arrive together, like exotic spices carried through crisp air at full speed.

Heart
Jasmine, osmanthus and Turkish rose bloom through the spice, lending a velvety floral elegance before the darker base rises.

Dry Down
Dark, smooth and long-lasting. Oud wood, smoky leather, cedar, patchouli and tonka settle into a luxurious, slightly wild cloud, well suited to evenings and cooler weather.
