Rather than simply increasing the perfume oil concentration, Amouage reformulated and aged the fragrance for 24 weeks (16 weeks of maceration and 8 weeks of maturation) to reveal greater depth, smoothness, and complexity. The fragrance contains an extraordinary 53% perfume oil concentration, which inspired its name.

While it shares the same note pyramid as the original Interlude Man, Interlude 53 is noticeably more refined.
