The Story

Released in 2021, Hibiscus Mahajád grew from founder Thibaud Crivelli’s experience of drinking hibiscus tea in a gemstone market. The perfume builds on the tea’s tart, fruity character, with rose and vanilla accentuating its rosy, vanillic side, and sets the brightness of hibiscus against spiced leather and spearmint. Maison Crivelli, founded in 2018, centers each creation on an unexpected discovery of a raw material.

How It Smells

Opening
Bold, vibrant and immediately unforgettable, a dazzling blend of hibiscus, cassis, peppermint and cinnamon. It feels juicy, sparkling and electric, like chilled hibiscus tea poured over crushed berries with a flash of fresh mint.

Heart
Richer and more sensual. Damask rose and hibiscus bloom into a lush floral heart that feels velvety, jammy and luxurious, while leather and ambrette add texture and warmth, a seductive contrast between sweetness and depth.

Dry Down
Warm and creamy, with vanilla, musks, ambery warmth and soft leather. It settles into an opulent cloud that smells rich, magnetic and impossible to ignore, with notably strong projection.

La Capitale by Xerjoff is a refined perfume dedicated to Moscow and to Russia, a boundless country rich in art, history and culture. It opens in a rich, playful burst of strawberry, caramel, peach and labdanum, deepens into leather, saffron and rose, and settles into Bourbon vanilla and benzoin.

The Story

La Capitale celebrates the modernity and romanticism of Moscow, a metropolis of thousands of different districts that together form a rich and fascinating city, a place of contradictions that runs from grandeur and grime to history and hipness. Xerjoff is an Italian house, founded by Sergio Momo in 2003.

How It Smells

Opening
Rich, playful and immediately addictive, with strawberry, caramel, peach and labdanum. The first impression is like luxurious strawberry jam drizzled over warm caramelized fruit: sweet, juicy and glamorous rather than childish.

Heart
The fragrance becomes darker and more seductive as leather, Iranian saffron, rose, amber and ginger rise through the sweetness, a sensual contrast between fruity gourmand notes and warm, luxurious depth.

Dry Down
Smooth and creamy, with Bourbon vanilla and benzoin adding warmth, softness and a resinous sweetness. It smells expensive and magnetic, wearable by anyone drawn to its character.

Vibrant passionfruit wrapped around refined oud, rather than buried by it, makes it one of the most unusual openings in modern perfumery.

The Story

Inspired by crisp Scandinavian mornings and timeless elegance, the fragrance draws on founder Jan Vilhelm Ahlgren's childhood summers at his grandfather's cottage, where they played chess, and on the green, grassy scent of the Swedish coast. Vilhelm Parfumerie has a Swedish name and New York roots, and its fragrances are created in Paris.

The Story

Egypt comes from the private collection of Albert Fouquet, the perfume enthusiast behind Eight & Bob, and was inspired by his travels in Egypt, by the plants and flowers of an Egyptian friend's garden and by the essences used for thousands of years in the birthplace of perfume. The house itself dates to 1937, when a young American student asked Fouquet for samples, including "one for Bob."

The house presents it as inspired by a memory of smelling oud at a horse race.
