Dark roasted coffee meets precious oud. Espresso Aoud by Roja Parfums is a creamy, gourmand parfum in which roasted coffee beans and caramelised nuts wrap around the warmth of aoud. Bold but refined, with a long, lingering trail. A newer addition to the Aoud Collection by Roja Dove.
Roja Dove spent time in the Middle East early in his career, studying aoud and the rituals that surround it, and brought that knowledge back to London. The house launched its first Aoud Parfum in 2011. Espresso Aoud extends that collection with a new idea: coffee that is dark, creamy and extremely high quality rather than simply sweet, set against oud for depth.
Opening
Floral and spiced: orange blossom, rose and violet with a touch of cinnamon, before the roast comes through.
Heart
Roasted coffee beans, pistachio and caramelised nuts melt into coconut, milk and vanilla for a velvety, indulgent core.
Dry Down
Smooth aoud, sandalwood, cedar and dry woods, with tonka, benzoin, leather and musks leaving a warm, creamy trail.
